Manji Cheto
Manji works as a Business Development Manager for AML. She has a Masters Degree in Global Politics from the London School of Economics (LSE) but also studied in the USA and France. She is passionate about social and economic development in Africa and her interests include politics, good governance, and increasing partnerships between government, civil society and the private sector.
Prior to joining AML, Manji worked as a Parliamentary Intern at the House of Commons for Gareth Thomas MP. She has also been involved in international development roles working in a project and fundraising role at Leonard Cheshire Disability. She also worked on a voluntary basis for Malaika Kids as a Programme Coordinator, where she identified and developed proposals to Grant Making Bodies (GMBs) to secure funds for the organisation’s child care and education projects in Tanzania.
Manji has family links in Nigeria, which further enhances AML’s extensive knowledge and networks in the country and across the West African region.
