Matthew Rugamba
Research Analyst
Matthew is a research analyst. He studied development at the University of London's School of Oriental and African Studies. He has over twelve years experience working in development in Uganda at Local Government level and was involved in the implementation of the pilot decentralisation programme of the Government of Uganda.
Matthew has researched and published profiles of leading contemporary Africans in Politics, Government and Business for the Africa Centre's Contemporary African Database. He is passionate about Africa's progress and keenly follows issues on investment, economic empowerment, poverty reduction and good governance on the continent.
Amongst other things, Matt does a lot of research on Anti-Counterfeiting in Africa for AML's clients.
