Debbie Goldthorpe
Chief Operating Officer
Debbie Goldthorpe is the Chief Operating Officer and the Senior Business Director of Africa Matters Limited. She advises clients across a range of manufacturing and service industries, and manages the AML staff and the business. Prior to joining Africa Matters Ltd Debbie worked for over 20 years in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and during this time lived and worked in a number of countries globally including South, East and West Africa.
For much of her career Debbie has worked with the private sector assisting companies of all sizes to develop business in various markets, including South Africa. In this capacity she also developed links with Governments and other international organisations working in the trade and investment fields, in the process gaining knowledge and understanding of how the private and public sectors can best work together.
