AML’s Founder and Chairman, Baroness Lynda Chalker, started the company in 1997 to assist companies wanting to invest and grow their businesses on the continent. As the former British Government Minister of State for Africa and Commonwealth countries and former International Development Minister, Baroness Chalker built up a large and influential network from Heads of State downwards and developed a granular understanding of the continent. Baroness Chalker’s 40 year history in Africa coupled with the AML team’s experience and connections on the continent means that we have exceptional access within the highest levels of government and the private sector in Africa.

AML specialises in advising companies on how to navigate complex political relationships and gain a better understanding of governments and policies whilst providing assistance with market entry strategies, political risk mitigation and an understanding of the numerous complexities and cultures present on the African continent.

AML supports the Chalker Foundation, which works to improve health and community programmes across Africa. For more information please visit: http://chalkerfoundation.org/home
